To display search results, search engines must first crawl and index images found on webpages. However, not all websites and images are crawled. For instance, most Facebook and Instagram pictures are not crawled. Although platforms like Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn are more likely to appear in search results, there is never a guarantee that a specific image will be found on these websites either.
